Nathan Chapman, 29, of Port Orange, was arrested by the Port Orange Police Department Wednesday morning on 21 counts of possessing child pornography after police found thousands of files containing child sexual abuse material on Chapman's electronic devices.
According to a Facebook post shared by the Police Department, the arrest came after a tip was received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, which is responsible for reporting instances of exploitation and child pornography shared on the internet.
The Port Orange Police Department also thanked the Deland Police Department and the Volusia County Sheriff's Office for their role in the investigation, in the post.
