Silver Alert issued for missing Port Orange man.

The Port Orange Police Department is currently searching for a missing person, Ted L. Fenwick, a white male born on March 25, 1938, who suffers from Alzheimer's.
According to reports, Mr. Fenwick was last seen at his residence in Port Orange around 11 a.m. on March 26, 2023, before leaving in his 2019 red Infiniti QX30 with Florida license plate APE3R. Images of his vehicle were later captured by a license plate reader in St. Augustine, Florida, at the intersection of FL-206 eastbound and I-95. It is believed that Mr. Fenwick may be attempting to travel to his brother's residence in Maine.
A state-wide Silver Alert has been issued for Mr. Fenwick. Anyone who has seen Mr. Fenwick, his vehicle, or knows of his whereabouts should contact local law enforcement or Volusia County Dispatch at 386-248-1777 immediately.

The subject, Mr. Ted Fenwick, has been safely recovered. The silver alert and BOLO have been canceled.
