Police Athletic League Opens Registration for Dodgeball
Port Orange, FL - Registration is now open for the Port Orange Police Athletic League’s fall dodgeball league, and it will take place from 9 AM to 4 PM at the Port Orange Police Department until Wednesday, August 22.
Teams are boys and girls co-ed and are split by age group. The age groups are 7-10 and 11-14. The first 54 players to register in each age group will be accepted. Last year there were about 8 or 9 people on each team with about 6 teams in each age group.
The cost to play is $20 plus a $15 yearly membership fee. The fee covers a shirt and trophies for the end of the season.
Games will be held at the Port Orange Parks and Rec Gymnasium. Players will meet their teammates on August 25th and the first practices will be held that same night. The official season will begin on September 8th.
This is the 5th year that the Police Athletic League have done dodgeball and each year more people have registered, so make sure to join as soon as you can! For more information call Bob Frazier at 386-506-5877.
