Creekside Middle School underwent lockdown due to a weapon found on campus.

Creekside Middle School off Airport Road in Port Orange was under lockdown Wednesday following reports of a weapon found on campus.
According to a release, Port Orange Police Department was on the scene at the middle school around 9:48 a.m. The student in possession made no threats to any other students or staff and was arrested without incident by police officers.
The school was in a short lockdown that was lifted just after 10 a.m.
The Port Orange Police Department is conducting an ongoing investigation.
