Your guide to Port Orange Family Days: Traffic and Parking essentials.

The long-awaited 27th annual Family Days festival kicks off today, Thursday, October 12, through Sunday, October 15, and as the festivities unfold, residents and visitors of Port Orange should take note of important parking information and road closures in and around the City Center complex.
Thursday, October 12:
- City Center Circle Closure: Starts at 1:30 p.m. and lasts until 10:30 p.m. as City Center Circle will be closed to vehicular traffic.
- Partial Access: A section of the Circle between City Hall and the Library (from City Center Parkway to City Center Boulevard) will remain open.
- Parking Options: General parking is available at Silver Sands (after school) and City Hall. Handicapped parking is available at Lakeside Community Center.
Friday through Sunday:
- Full Circle Closure: City Center Circle will be fully closed throughout Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, except for the area between City Hall and the Library (from City Center Parkway and City Center Boulevard), which will remain accessible.
- Parade Day Closure: On Saturday, October 14, the entire Circle will temporarily close from 11:00 AM to noon for the festival's grand parade. City Center Parkway from Dunlawton will also be inaccessible during that time.
- Parking Arrangements: General parking is facilitated at Silver Sands (after school) and City Hall, offering convenient options for attendees. Lakeside Community Center will cater to handicapped parking needs.
As festivalgoers prepare to immerse themselves in the diverse and exciting activities, organizers encourage adherence to these parking guidelines and traffic adjustments to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience at the 27th annual Family Days celebration.
