Volusia County Playgrounds and Campsites to Close Thursday until Further Notice.

Volusia County Government will be closing all playgrounds at all county-operated parks Thursday until further notice.
The Hope Place Play Area in Daytona Beach and Rachel Robinson Play Yard at Daytona Beach Regional Library will also be closed.
All campsites in county-operated parks and preserves will close at 3 p.m. Thursday, March 26 until further notice.
The affected campsites are:

Candace R. Strawn/Lake Dias Park, DeLeon Springs

Gemini Springs Park, DeBary

Hickory Bluff Preserve, Osteen

Lake Ashby Park, New Smyrna Beach

Lake George Forest and Wildlife Management Area, Pierson

Lake Monroe Park, DeBary
-
Longleaf Pine Preserve, DeLand and New Smyrna Beach

Wiregrass Prairie Preserve, Osteen
The Parks, Recreation and Culture Division has canceled the Senior Walking Program which was scheduled from April 2-30 at green Springs Park in Deltona.
