Ponce Inlet is looking for volunteers 18 and older to help with the town's native ecosystem on Tuesday, May 7 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Ponce Preserve. Volunteers will learn about invasive plants from the experts at Young Bear Environmental. They will teach proper removal techniques, which we will then put into practice at Ponce Preserve and Timucuan Oaks parks.
Lunch is provided to all volunteers. A prize will go to the individual/ group that removes the largest air potato. Volunteers should bring sunscreen, bug repellant, garden gloves, a hat, and closed toe shoes.
