Summer Nature Camp Registration Open April 1
The Lyonia Environmental Center (LEC) will open registration for its summer nature camp on April 1. The camp will be held Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., starting on June 3 and ending on Aug. 7, at the Lyonia Environmental Center, 2150 Eustace Ave., Deltona. Campers will go on guided nature hikes, encounter live animals up close, get creative with arts and crafts, participate in science experiments, and more. The 2024 LEC Summer Camp schedule has different programs for ages 6 to 15. See below for the different camp programs available this year:
5 Day Camps: (Choose one for each payment)
Ages 6-8 ($100) Mighty Mammals: June 3-7
Ages 7-9 ($100) Feather Heads: June 10-14; Creative Expressions: June 17-21; Science Masterminds: June 24-28
Ages 10-12 ($125 and includes two off-site field trips each week) Alice’s Storybook Garden: July 8-12; Eco Warriors: July 15-19: Color Your World: July 22-26
Ages 12-15 ($125 and includes two off-site field trips) Aquatic Adventures: July 29-August 2
3-Day Camp:
Ages 7-12 ($75 or $25 for Individual Days) Rockin’ Reptiles: August 5-7
