Public assistance needed in identifying $20K credit card fraud suspect.

The Port Orange Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a credit card fraud case. The incident occurred between June 23, 2023, and September 20, 2023, leaving an 85-year-old victim grappling with the theft of their credit card information.
During this period, the unidentified perpetrator managed to siphon approximately $20,000 from the victim's bank account. The suspect was captured on surveillance cameras withdrawing $6,400 in cash through fraudulent transactions, specifically in the Port Orange and Daytona Beach Shores area.
Anyone with information regarding the suspect's whereabouts should contact Detective Turchon referencing POPD Case # PO230006227 at (386)506-5899. Alternatively, the community can contact Crime Stoppers of North East Florida at 1-888-277-TIPS, and have the option to remain anonymous.
