Officials with the City of Port Orange will host a Town Hall on Thursday, January 19, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. at the Lakeside Community Center at 1999 City Center Circle in Port Orange to go over upcoming City projects and to get feedback from residents.
According to a release, Residents will have the opportunity to learn about the Bristol Group’s Riverwalk project, a 10-acre, mixed-use development along the Halifax River that will bring in shops, restaurants, and 450 multi-family units mixed in with public space.
The Town Hall will go over the proposed traffic improvements along Dunlawton Avenue and discover new software to make the online permitting process. Residents will also hear updates from the City’s police and fire departments on new tools and equipment, along with different departments within the City and Council.
"I am very much looking forward to the conversations we have every year at the Town Hall with our residents and businesspeople. We have a lot of information to share, and we will all be there to listen as well. It should be a fun, informative, and productive evening," said City of Port Orange Mayor Don Burnette.
Residents are encouraged to attend and give feedback on the upcoming projects and developments in the City of Port Orange.
