Police Department Receives International Reaccreditation

The Port Orange Police Department announced they have achieved International Advanced Law Enforcement Reaccreditation for the seventh time. This past week Chief Marino and Accreditation Manager, Kelly Williams, attended the 131st CALEA Conference in Montgomery, Alabama, where they presented before the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA). The Port Orange Police Department was recognized, along with other agencies from around the country and internationally, including the Volusia Sheriff's Office.
CALEA Accreditation serves as the International Gold Standard for Public Service Agencies.
