Pappas Drive In, the New Smyrna Beach staple, has suffered a devastating fire. Firefighters were at the scene soon after midnight, as smoke rose from the building's roof, and continued to fight the blaze long into the morning hours. Pappas has been located on North Dixie Highway since 1970. So far, no injuries have been reported.
