Man Found Dead Inside of Vehicle in Apartment Complex Parking Lot.

According to reports sent out by the Daytona Beach Police Department, an investigation is currently underway after a man was found dead inside of a vehicle in an apartment complex parking lot.
Officers responded to the scene around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday to the Wedgewood Apartments off of Mason Ave in Daytona Beach.
After arriving at the scene, officers found the victim, a black male in his mid-20’s, had been shot in the head on the driver’s side of a black Kia. The vehicle's driving gear was engaged.
Also discovered in the vehicle was a scale and a firearm.
There is no suspect information for release right now.
