Holiday Waste Collection for Unincorporated Areas

According to a release put out by the county, there will be no garbage, recycling, bulk waste, and yard trash collection for unincorporated Volusia County on Christmas and New Year’s days.

The collection days normally scheduled for Friday, December 25, and January 1, will be the following day, Saturday, December 26, and January 2.

The Tomoka Landfill and West Volusia Transfer Station will be closed on Christmas and New Year’s days.
