What started as a tragic story of abandonment and lack of caring, ended with a little puppy named Stella finding a new forever home with a Daytona Beach Firefighter. According to the Daytona Beach Fire Department (DBFD) Facebook page, Engine 1 cleared a medical call at one of the local motels when a worker approached them and said someone checked out and abandoned a dog. The motel attempted notification for several hours prior to DBFD's arrival with no luck. Driver Engineer Terry decided to give the little pup a new home, and now the 3-month-old has a warm, loving, and happy family.
Heroes never stop being heroes. Thank you to the DBFD and Driver Engineer Terry for saving Stella.
