The restroom and beach ramp on Boylston Avenue in Daytona Beach will close next week to replace the current restroom structure, as the existing facility has exceeded its life expectancy, and the beach ramp will be landscaped to improve aesthetics.
Work will begin on Tuesday, February 1, and the two will be closed for approximately five months, and both areas will be closed to vehicles and pedestrians during construction.
The city advises residents to use the Williams Avenue beach ramp approximately one-tenth of a mile south of Boylston Avenue until construction is complete.
