This morning, law enforcement officers with the Daytona Beach Police Department swiftly responded to a bomb threat reported at the Fifth District Court of Appeal located at 300 S. Beach Street in Daytona Beach. The threat was received via email and triggered immediate action at approximately 10:06 a.m.

In an abundance of caution, authorities evacuated the premises, ensuring the safety of all individuals within the vicinity. The Volusia Sheriff’s Office provided crucial assistance in thoroughly searching the building to ensure its security. The building was ultimately deemed clear of any potential threats.
