Whether you are a veterinarian, humane society representative, member of a kennel club, a hunter, a livestock owner, or just a Volusia County resident passionate about animals, you might be an excellent fit for the Volusia County Animal Advisory Board.
According to a release, the board is appointed by the Volusia County Council, to make recommendations about the county's animal control ordinance, legislation, and regulations. It also hears appeals on licensing problems and recommends, regulates, and sets standards of procedure for collecting, care, custody, and disposal of animals at large.
