Officials with Votran have announced that bus service will run through today, Wednesday, November 9, and suspend at 7 p.m. on the beachside. Once weather conditions warrant unsafe conditions on the roads, service will cease on all Votran routes.

Votran will not operate on Thursday, November 10, resuming on Friday, November 11, weather permitting. Bus fares will be suspended on Wednesday and Friday.

All Votran bus stops will serve as evacuation points. which will take residents to a transfer location where riders will board school buses to take them to the appropriate shelter locations, beginning at 10 a.m. Wednesday:

  • Transfer Plaza in Daytona Beach
  • Julia and Sams Connection Point in New Smyrna Beach
  • Market Place Super stop in Orange City
