Volusia Forever Committee to Meet on March 8
If you have an interest in learning more about the Volusia Forever initiative, the Volusia Forever Advisory Committee will meet at 9 a.m. Friday, March 8, in the county council chambers at the Thomas C. Kelly Administration Center, 123 W. Indiana Ave., DeLand. This meeting is open to the public and residents may listen in person or virtually. A link is available at www.volusia.org/forever-advisory.
During this meeting, the committee will assess and rank the eligible applications for the 2024 Cycle 1 of Volusia Forever. which includes properties at Tomoka Farms Road and Lake Helen Project Area North. Both of which total more than 400 acres of land to continue toward the Volusia Forever program goals to conserve, maintain, and restore the natural environment.
