The festive spirit is in full swing as the Parks, Recreation, and Culture Department in Volusia County unveils a heartwarming initiative to bring joy to children aged 12 years and younger during the holiday season. A dedicated team of merry elves, assembled by the department, is helping Santa Claus send personalized postcards directly from Santaland, USA.
Parents and caregivers can participate in this magical experience by simply providing their child's full name and address. Upon doing so, the child will receive a charming postcard featuring a special note from Santa, himself confirming the child's coveted spot on the nice list.
For seamless delivery, the elf workshop kindly requests all information to be submitted by Friday, December 8, 2023, to elves@volusia.org. For additional details and inquiries, interested parties can contact the Parks, Recreation, and Culture Division at 386-736-5953.
