The Volusia Academy of Ballet began in 1988, when Nobuko Walls retired from professional ballet and began the Academy. Her love of teaching ballet and dance has instilled in many students discipline and self-confidence. For 29 years the Academy has maintained the same name and location while, Nobuko has been working with her students and sharing her love of ballet.
