The Daytona Beach Police Department has identified two suspects in a fatal hit-and-run crash on South Nova Road near Bellevue Avenue that occurred on Wednesday, June 1.

According to a release, officers arrived on the scene just after 10:45 p.m., finding Q’ueshawn Emmanuel Jones, 24, lying on the side of the road. Jones was pronounced deceased on the scene by paramedics.

Investigators with the Traffic Homicide Unit believe Jones was walking west on Nova crossing the Bellevue intersection when a dark-colored 4-door vehicle heading north on Nova struck him.

According to reports, the vehicle involved was a dark-colored BMW sedan with heavy damage to its front end, including a shattered front windshield. Investigators believe a male was driving and a female was in the passenger seat.

After sharing information with the public, the vehicle was found and positive identifications of both suspects have been made.
