Twenty-one food sites for summer meals are converting to grab-and-go.

Twenty-one out of the fifty-five Summer Food Service Sites in Volusia County are converting to grab-and-go meals, as permitted by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, beginning Monday, July 18.
According to a release, the program began on June 6, is funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture to provide balanced meals during summer break when schools are closed, and began with Summer Food Service offering meals on-site to children. Meals will continue to be offered Monday through Friday and continue through Friday, August 12 unless otherwise indicated.
Parents cannot pick up meals unless they have children present.
Families can stop by the following grab-and-go sites to receive breakfast and lunch in a bag:
