This year marks the 20th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001; therefore, Team RWB and Embry Riddle Aeronautical University will be hosting a 9/11 moving tribute.
Team RWB (or Team Red, White, and Blue) is a non-profit organization that enriches the lives of America’s veterans and connects them to their community through physical and social activities.
The non-profit organization will be hosting multiple moving tributes throughout the nation, allowing veterans and supporters to take steps from sunrise to sunset honoring the 2,977 lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the 5,461 service members killed in action in the wars following the event.
Anyone interested in taking part in the tribute, or wishing to show their support, can meet up with team members of Team RWB from 7:00 a.m. to 7:34 p.m. at the Embry Riddle Track off Clyde Morris Boulevard in Daytona Beach, FL.
For more information, contact Lani Faulkner at lani.faulkner@teamrwb.org or call (904) 334-7053.
