Second Case of COVID-19 Reported in Volusia County

The Volusia County Health Department has released another tweet regarding a second confirmed Presumptive Positive case of COVID-19 in the county. The Health Department released the tweet just after 8:30 p.m.
This case brings the number up to 13 confirmed cases in the state of Florida.
The patient is a 60-year-old woman, who has a recent history of travel. She is currently under isolation, awaiting clearance from a public health official.
At this time there is no report on the exact location within the county to where the confirmed case has been or who they have been in contact with. We will provide future updates on this story as they become available.
This comes just two days after the first case was confirmed early Saturday evening.
