Port Orange motorcycle crash leaves one dead.

In a devastating incident that transpired on September 29, 2023, at approximately 3:43 p.m., the Port Orange Police Department swiftly responded to a distressing motor vehicle collision at the 3700 Block of Nova Road, involving a motorcycle and an SUV.
Regrettably, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, but no other injuries were reported during the collision. Authorities are withholding the identity of the motorcycle operator at this time, awaiting notification of the next of kin.
The Port Orange Police Department has initiated a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision. Those who may have witnessed the collision or possess any information pertinent to the case should contact Traffic Homicide Investigator, Michael Garay, at 386-506-5838.
