The City of Port Orange has recently introduced a new online tool called AquaHawk, which assists water customers in understanding and managing their water consumption more efficiently. The service is free and easy to use, making it an attractive solution for residents who want to take control of their water usage.
With AquaHawk, customers can keep track of their water usage with easy-to-understand graphs showing how and when water is used. It can even alert customers to leaks that may occur either inside or outside their homes.
The tool can also assist users in creating a monthly budget for their water usage. The service sends alerts when a cost or usage limit is reached, enabling users to set unique thresholds and choose an amount of water (in gallons) or an estimated bill amount they do not want to exceed. Moreover, AquaHawk allows people to be notified of any issues within hours by requesting they be notified by phone, text, or email when customers exceed a limit.
Registration for this service is voluntary, easy, and free to use.
