The New Smyrna Beach Police Department is actively searching for a missing girl, who was last seen, on the evening of September 1, 2021, around 8:00 p.m.

According to a release, the guardian of Aleah S. Fredrick, a 14-year-old female, contacted law enforcement around 2:30 a.m. on September 2 after hearing what sounded like someone trying to open a window to their residence. Her guardian discovered, at that time, that Ms. Fredrick had left through her bedroom window.

Investigators discovered that Ms. Fedrick regularly sneaks in and out of the residence through her bedroom window. Ms. Fedrick does not have access to any known method of transportation.

Ms. Fredrick has black hair, brown eyes and usually wears a red bandana.

If anyone has seen or has any information regarding Ms. Fedrick’s whereabouts, contact Detective Alvarez-Daly at (386) 424-2251 or email bdaly@cityofnsb.com.
