Leap Day is Coming - Finding Our Calendar in the Stars

On Tuesday, February 27, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Lohman Planetarium at the Museum of Arts & Sciences (MOAS) in Daytona Beach join Curator of Astronomy, Seth Mayo in the Planetarium as he steps on his soapbox. When was the modern calendar created, and by whom? Enjoy a journey through space and history to discuss the connection of the calendar with astronomy, just in time for leap day!
Registration is strongly encouraged as space is limited. If registration is full, please call the Museum at 386-255-0285 to be placed on a waitlist with the potential for another time to be scheduled.
