FDOT Announces Numerous Ramp Closures Beginning 9/22 thru 9/24

 

Upcoming construction activities will require various nighttime ramp closures at S.R. 421 (Taylor Road), I-4, S.R. 400 (Beville Road) and U.S. 92 (ISB) interchanges next week. In addition, the continuous closure of the eastbound U.S. 92 (ISB) on ramp to northbound I-95 has been rescheduled for next week. All detours will be well marked and occur during the overnight hours between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m., weather permitting. Motorists are advised to slow down and follow the detour signs. The scheduled closures and posted detours are detailed as follows:

 

When: Sunday, September 22 from 10 p.m. – 6 a.m.
(Mon., Sept. 23 is a backup date)
What: Closure of the Northbound I-95 Off Ramp to S.R. 421 (Taylor Road)
How it will work: Traffic will be directed continue northbound on I-95 and exit onto S.R. 400 (Beville Road) to southbound Williamson Boulevard to access S.R. 421 (Taylor Road).

 

When: Monday, September 23 from 10 p.m. – 6 a.m.
What: Closure of the Eastbound I-4 On Ramp to Southbound I-95
How it will work: Traffic will be directed to exit onto S.R. 400 (Beville Road) and take southbound Williamson Boulevard to S.R. 421 (Taylor Road) to access southbound I-95.

 

When: Monday, September 23 from 10 p.m. – 6 a.m.
What: Closure of the Westbound S.R. 400 (Beville Road) On Ramp to Southbound I-95
How it will work: Traffic will be directed to take southbound Williamson Boulevard to S.R. 421 (Taylor Road) to access southbound I-95.

 

When: Monday, September 23 from 10 p.m. – 6 a.m.
(Tues., Sept. 24 is a backup date)

What: Closure of the Westbound S.R. 421 (Taylor Road) On Ramp to Northbound I-95
How it will work: Traffic will be directed to take northbound Williamson Boulevard to S.R. 400 (Beville Road) to access northbound I-95.

When: Tuesday, September 24 from 10 p.m. – 6 a.m.
(Wed., Sept. 25 and Thurs., Sept. 26 are backup dates)
What: Closure of the Southbound I-95 Off Ramps to Eastbound and Westbound U.S. 92 (ISB). The Southbound I-95 Off Ramps to Eastbound S.R. 400 (Beville Road) and Westbound I-4 will be open.
How it will work: Traffic will be directed to exit onto LPGA Boulevard and take southbound Williamson Boulevard to access U.S. 92 (ISB).

In addition to the closures above, drivers should be aware that the continuous closure of the eastbound U.S. 92 (ISB) on ramp to northbound I-95 has been rescheduled to next week. Starting at 10 p.m. on Tuesday, September 24, the eastbound U.S. 92 (ISB) on ramp to northbound I-95 will be continuously closed through 6 a.m. Friday, September 27. Traffic from eastbound U.S. 92 (ISB) headed to northbound I-95 will be directed to take northbound Williamson Boulevard to LPGA Boulevard where northbound I-95 will be accessible.
