College Basketball Invitational Returns to Ocean Center
The teams have been announced for the 2024 Ro College Basketball Invitational, which will be held March 23-27 at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach. This single-elimination, fully-bracketed men’s basketball postseason tournament will feature 16 Division 1 teams nationwide, including Volusia County’s own Bethune-Cookman University.
“We are excited to return to Daytona Beach,” said Gazelle Group President Rick Giles. ”It’s the perfect destination for a great Post-Season tournament with the hotel being on the beach and the arena right across the street.”
Games tip off with the first round on Saturday, March 23 and Sunday, March 24. The quarterfinal round is on Monday, March 25, followed by the semifinal round on Tuesday, March 26. The Championship Game takes place on Wednesday, March 27. The Semifinals and Championship game will be broadcast on ESPN2, and the opening and Quarterfinal Rounds will be broadcast on FloHoops.
Tickets for the 2024 College Basketball Invitational start at $8 and are on sale through TicketMaster.com or by calling the Ocean Center at 386-254-4500 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Tickets may also be purchased at the Ocean Center box office on CBI game days.
