Canal View Blvd in Port Orange to close for resurfacing project.

As of Monday, March 14, Canal View Boulevard in Port Orange, from Nova Road to Jackson Street, will be closed from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The closure allows crews to install curbing, spillways, guardrail beams, and resurface the road.

According to the city, electronic signboards are in place, detour routes will be marked, and the completion of the entire project is slated for mid-November.

Different sections of Canal View Boulevard will close as construction progresses, and there will be no roadwork done overnight or on weekends.
